Archive footage of the Dangerous Criminal
Went to a fun hill with Jamie tharp, Steve Masters and Oli Green for a shred and we filmed this advert for the Dangerous Criminal! Must have been early 2010.
Anyhoo, good skates and then I crashed real hard at the end and smashed my face up. Stoked on full face helmets eh?
2010: What a year!
Quick little round up of my 2010 year right here with a few photos of some of the fun stuff!
What a year, it was mad ! went to SO many events in both UK and Europe. The UK Outlaw league kicked off, we had sick slide jams, long distance, everything!

First up, testing Loton Park. The guys at STKD were looking to run a UK downhill series and I managed to score an invite to the test session for the first race course. We drove for hours and hours to get up North where the track was and then… it was wet! haha! We were filming an advert so had to try and look as fast as possible. While chasing the gnarly Mike River, I crashed out HARD on the last run, hitting my head and damaging my shoulder joint muscles. It’s a year later now and it still hurts almost every day, lame! Unfortunately the STKD series got cancelled so I was really lucky to get a go at smashing this hill.

Before the main season kicked off, I took a little trip out to Mallorca with my mate Josh for his birthday. Camping in the north side of the island right in the hills was sick. Sunshine everyday and gnarly roads everywhere! This pic is from the best spot we skated on the trip, a 20 minute long bomb with about 24 hairpin bends that you drifted all the way round. I’d just got the Repeat Offender prototype and this was it’s testing ground… perfect.

Next up was the Hog hill UK Outlaw championships. This was part of the http://www.longboard-sessions.co.uk outlaw league, a series of Outlaw races across the UK. Hog Hill wasn’t quite technically “outlaw” but we jammed it in the league all the same. With no organisation comes no rules, hehe. It was bloody good fun, 2 days of bombing with yer mates and having a laugh. There’s another one or two of these on in 2011 so keep your eyes peeled!

Here’s a couple of shots from my local hill, MariGnar. It’s a nice long straight that gets you up to about 30mph in a tuck, then shoots you into a 180 degree right hand corner. I love this place and our local crew skates it about once a week at least in the evenings. Barely any cars, no hassle, just straight up shredding.

Another couple of shots here, these are from the Family Slide Pro Tour that happened over the summer. Mark short and Will Edgecoombe (Legends!), managed to wrangle getting Sergio and Fernando Yuppie over to the UK for a sick UK tour of some of our best slide spots. These two are from the Greenwich Jam, organised by Dangerous Decks team rider Jamie tharp. The park spot is lovely, and while we had a bit of hassle from the coppers, everything ended up ok for a day of killing wheels and watching the best in the world do what they do best, slide skateboards.
SO STOKED ON THIS SHOT! We went to our secret SE training ground. A sick, car free hill with lots of gradient and corners. Pete threw us together a scary kicker and after a few warm up goes, we were charging the hill from the top, hitting the first sharp corner and immediatly getting chucked straight off the kicker. Suprisingly, it’s not too bad hitting kickers on a longboard. There’s so much deck space they’re easy to land on!
So much that isn’t in here, but there you go. Bring on 2011!!!!
